Sites

What are Sites?

Sites represent physical locations where utilities consumption is monitored and managed. Each site contains:

  • Geographical location details

  • Power consumption metrics

  • Associated meters and units

  • Billing and contact information

  • Operational settings (timezone, billing dates)

Getting Started

  1. Add a New Site

    • Click "+ Add Site" from the Sites Overview

    • Fill in address details and basic information

    • Save to automatically geolocate on the map

  2. View Site Details

    • Click any site card/row to see:

    • Real-time power statistics

    • Location map

    • Associated units and meters

    • Billing configuration

  3. Manage Site Settings

    • Use the "Edit Site" button to:

    • Update contact information

    • Configure billing dates (1st-28th of month)

    • Set timezone for accurate reporting

    • Modify banking details for payments

Power Monitoring

  • View total power draw in kW on the overview card

  • See top consuming sites at a glance

  • Access detailed consumption metrics in:

    • 15-minute intervals (current day)

    • Daily summaries (historical data)

Best Practices

  1. Verify address accuracy for proper geolocation

  2. Set billing dates before the 25th for payment processing

  3. Regularly update meter associations as infrastructure changes

  4. Use unit management to separate different departments/buildings

  5. Review power trends monthly for consumption patterns

Note: Sites can be managed in both prepaid (pay-as-you-use) and postpaid (monthly billing) modes - ensure you're using the correct interface for your payment model.
